Darth Maul

Darth Maul is a Sith Lord in the Star Wars universe who first appeared in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. He is an apprentice of Darth Sidious (Emperor Palpatine) and is known for his red and black tattooed face, crown of horns, and his iconic double-bladed red lightsaber. Despite being defeated and cut in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul survived and later returned in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Driven by revenge and hatred, Maul became a powerful crime lord and continued to pursue his vendetta against the Jedi and the Sith who betrayed him. He is one of the most memorable villains in the Star Wars saga.
